No school construction tax this fall
WESTLAKE — The Westlake Board of Education has decided against asking voters to fund the construction of a new high school and renovated middle school this November. But they said the process of addressing the district's aging and overcrowded schools will proceed, with a ballot issue likely in May.
$100K grant fires up COG study
WESTSHORE — Thanks to their second-place finish in on online poll, Westshore cities will receive $100,000 in grant money toward a study of a regional fire district.
Mall renovation plan moving forward
NORTH OLMSTED — The
Board of Zoning Appeals approved variances for new signs at Great northern Mall after about three-and-a-half hours of discussion on the proposal. The signs are part of a multi-million dollar proposal for renovating the mall.
