Decades-old lawsuit settled
WESTLAKE — A dispute dating from the 1980s between City Hall and local businessman Charles Shimola comes to negotiated settlement. The city will pay Shimola $15 million and obtain a portion of his property. Shimola retains the rights to develop the property he keeps.
