a member of RTA’s board of directors, urged riders who will be affected
by the agency’s cuts to attend upcoming public hearings. |

hires planned despite challenge BAY VILLAGE — The process has begun to hire two firefighters. One will fill a vacancy caused by a recent death in the department. The other will be an all-shifts floater to fill in for absent firefighters. This plan has not satisfied a citizens group unhappy with cuts to firefighters' overtime costs. |
