Proposed RTA cuts to impact Westshore
Rocky River Civic Center to host public comment meeting

WESTSHORE — Rocky River’s Don Umerley Civic Center will host the first of five scheduled public hearings at which residents can comment on proposed service reductions and a fuel surcharge. Under the proposed fare changes, a ride on a bus or rapid car would jump from $1.75 to between $2.25 and 2.50.
Elections board not planning fire staffing vote in November
BAY VILLAGE — Cuyahoga County Board of Elections officials have no plans to put on the November ballot an issue about shift staffing levels for the Bay Village fire department. Law Director Gary Ebert had sent the board a letter challenging the validity of the petitions submitted by the Bay Citizens for Safety group.
Gemini pool to open by end of July
