Uncle Waldo’s concert series
gets listeners up close to new artists

Where's Waldo? We don't know. But Uncle Waldo’s Coffeehouse, located in Rocky River’s West Shore Unitarian Universalist Church, presents everything from folk and country to pop and funk. The venue provides an added bonus for local artists, who often are asked to perform as show openers.

West Life Newspaper, a suburban weekly with a circulation of 13,000, is offering unpaid internships this summer in the following areas:

  • News and Features
  • Copy Editing
  • Sports
  • New Media

West Life covers the western suburbs of Cleveland, including Fairview Park, North Olmsted, Westlake, Rocky River and Bay Village.

Interns will be assigned news and feature articles for publication. Standing as a college junior, senior or graduate student is required. Journalism coursework and experience on a campus newspaper is preferred. Availability Monday evening and/or Tuesday morning is preferred.
